Hidden Cove, and an Attack.

[Bliss]

Siv skimmed the icy water, feeling a rush of excitement as she expertly flew the katabatic winds the she had been raised by. (Is it even time for katabatic winds?) Suddenly.... "Get the Guardian!" Kraals swooped upon her, brandishing ice daggers. "Not possible! Kraals, here?" Siv cried, lashing out with her close blade, deftly de-winging two, and then making a few quick slashes to the leader's soft underbelly; making him screech in pain. "I'll be back, young Siv. We'll make you a kraal yet!" He shrieked, then with a lightning quick move, blood welled on her white spots, staining them red. “No!” Siv cried, as darkness threatened to push over her vision. “No…” She repeated, sinking lower, and lower, with every move. “It’s Siv!” Owls flew out of the darkness, clad in bright berries, gleaming feathers, and reindeer moss. Gadfeathers, Siv thought, relaxing in the air vacuum they had created. “Bisshen Siv!” One gadfeather shreed, flapping her wings anxiously. “Now, now, Elka.” The lead gadfeather murmured in Hoolian. “But Sundance, she could die!” Elka shouted. “I can speak,” Siv hooted weakly, as they touched down at an ice cove. “There, see Elka?” Another gadfeather hooted happily. “Well, yes Myrrin.” Elka murmured sheepishly. Sundance plucked some of her blondish-hued down, and laid Siv on top. “Moss! I need moss!” She demanded, piling it smoothly around Siv. “Here Siv, a snow rat.” Myrrin hooted, hurrying forward. Siv nodded her head regally, and bent down to gulp it up. (This post is kinda random.)

[Hoole]

Myrrthe flew in to see what all the fuss was about. She alighted down with her pair of battleclaws since she had been training up here where her father had come from. "What's with all the fuss?" She hooted trying to get the attention of all the Snowies and Spotted owls around. "I heard screeching then I found all of you here. Was there a fight?" Myrrthe liked to hear about fights. She thought some were very fascinating. She hopped up and down trying to see through the middle of it all. She didn't feel like flying over them right now.

[Bliss]

"M'lady! A stranger!" Elka called. Sundance tensed, as did the others. Siv sensed Myrrthe nearby. "Don't attack," she murmured weakly to the gadfeathers. "It's a Guardian." Sundance nodded, and released her stance, motioning for the others to relax.

[Hoole]

Myrrthe stood there wide eyed while the gadfeathers looked on at her. "I thought gadfeathers were always nice." Myrrthe hooted as she looked on at them. "That's what my Da and Mum told me. They both came from the Northern Kingdoms. They set off to the Ga'Hoole tree to start a new life, but they didn't expect becoming the king and queen of the tree." Myrrthe felt happy to talk about her parents for once in awhile. She smiled at the gadfeathers. Emerillia, her sister, alighted down next to her.
"Hey, Myrrthe, I found out some more info on St. Aggies and the Pure Ones." She looked over at what Myrrthe was looking at. "Oooo! I've always wanted to meet gadfeathers. Remember, Mum and Da told us about the kindness of gadfeathers?"
"Yes, I remember fully. It really wasn't that long ago." Myrrthe looked over at her sister. Her eyes were bright also from the encounter with gadfeathers right now. Btoh looked back at the gadfeathers sweetly.

[Bliss]

Elka stared suspiciously at Myrrthe and Emerilla, and bustled off. Sundance stepped forward, and hooted, "Welcome." She peered at Emerilla, and murmured, "My dear, would you sing a few notes of a song you know?" Siv ruffled her feathers, and waited expectantly to what would happen.
